Fenómeno “Barbenheimer” lidera prenominaciones de los Bafta 2024

La Academia Británica reveló los resultados de la primera ronda de votación en las 24 categorías de los Premios Bafta 2024, con las cintas “Barbie”, “Oppenheimer” y “Killers of the Flower Moon” a la cabeza con 15 prenominaciones cada una.

La lista fue publicada este viernes 5 de enero por la propia Academia, que detalló que las películas que tomó en cuenta avanzarán a la etapa de votaciones de nominaciones. bafta

“La segunda ronda de votación, para determinar las nominaciones, comienza hoy a las 6:00 GMT para los miembros votantes de los Bafta y se cerrará el viernes 12 de enero de 2024”, indicó la British Academy of Film and Television Arts en su página web.

Tras el proceso de votación, se anunciarán los candidatos a los galardones el próximo jueves 18 de enero, mientras que la ceremonia se celebrará el domingo 18 de febrero en el Royal Festival Hall de Londres.

La lista

“Poor Things”, que protagoniza Emma Stones, le sigue a la triada de precandidatas con 14 nombramientos, “Maestro” con 12 y “Saltburn” en 11. Mientras tanto, “The Zone of Interest” y “All of Us Strangers” compiten en 10 categorías (entre ellas la de mejor película), “Wonka” en ocho, “How to Have Sex” en seis y “Rye Lane” en cinco. 

“How to Have Sex” y “Rye Lane” también vieron a sus directoras, Molly Manning Walker y Raine Allen-Miller, respectivamente, y a sus estrellas principales, Mia McKenna-Bruce y Vivian Oparah, hallar espacios en la lista larga de directores y actrices principales, reseñó Variety.
